How to color Valentine pages
Go beyond red. Mix in blush pink, raspberry, peach and a little lilac. Hearts look softer and more modern that way.
Shade hearts like a ball. Color the edges a little darker and leave a light spot near the top, and the heart will look puffy.
Add a warm neutral. A creamy beige or light brown for teddy bears and mugs keeps all the pink from getting too much.
Write a message. There's room on these pages for a name or a little note. Color it in and give it as a homemade valentine.
