How to color cozy fall scenes
Use a harvest palette. Burnt orange, mustard, deep red, olive green and warm brown. Five colors are enough for a whole page.
Color leaves in two tones. Fill a leaf with yellow, then add orange or red from the tip inwards. It looks like the leaf is turning.
Shade pumpkins along the ribs. Press a little harder next to each curved line and lighter in the middle, and the pumpkin will look round.
Warm the light. A soft yellow glow around the fire or the moon makes the whole page feel cozy.
